ScheduledMaintenanceImage

Normal water service should be restored for several customers affected by a water main break Thursday evening near Independence Boulevard and River Road.

A boil water advisory remains in effect for all customers on Independence Boulevard between River Road and Carolina Beach Road and all customers in the River Lights and River’s Edge communities.

Customers in those areas should boil water for at least one minute prior to human consumption until notified by CFPUA.

Human consumption includes cooking, making ice, drink mixing, food preparation and hand washing.

Customers do NOT need to boil water before using it for showering or bathing.
