Tonight, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, CFPUA will host the first of four community meetings on per-fluorinated compounds and the Sweeney Water Treatment Plant. CFPUA Executive Director, Jim Flechtner, will present on interim and long-term plans to address contamination from per-fluorinated compounds detected in the Cape Fear River. After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask CFPUA staff questions and provide input.
