[ARCHIVED] Results for PFAS Sampling at the Sweeney Water Treatment Plant

RESULTS FOR PFAS SAMPLING AT THE SWEENEY WATER TREATMENT PLANT

CFPUA continues to monitor for per-fluorinated compounds on a regular basis in the water at the Sweeney Plant. The most recent GenX results can be seen below. For older results of GenX levels, or for results of testing for other per-fluorinated compounds, see our Emerging Contaminants page.

Recent GenX results for the finished water at Sweeney Water Treatment Plant are below. Levels of the compound continue to be below the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services health goal of 140 parts per trillion.
