[ARCHIVED] Ogden Interceptor

CFPUA and contractor crews have been working along the southern portion of Smith Creek between I40 and North Kerr in an effort to proactively address the repair and replacement of sections of the Ogden Interceptor. During construction, existing easements (such as street ends and easements between lots as indicated on the attached map) will be utilized to gain access to the construction area. Residents are reminded to keep easements clear to best facilitate access for construction purposes. Also during construction, systems will be installed along the Ogden Interceptor line to bypass the flow of wastewater around those areas that are being repaired or replaced. Bypass pumping will begin in approximately a week and requires the utilization of pumps at various locations that may generate some level of noise.

Please be reminded that Smith Creek between I40 and North Kerr is an active construction area with work being done in the most expedient fashion to address necessary repairs to the Ogden Interceptor wastewater system. During construction, this area will be closed for all other activity and pedestrians, recreationists etc should avoid this area.
