A lane shift is in effect in the 1900 block of Carolina Beach Road Friday, December 6, for an emergency water repair.
Both southbound lanes of Carolina Beach Road between Tennessee Avenue and Northern Boulevard have been shifted into the center turn lane.
The northbound lanes of Carolina Beach Road remain open.
Turning traffic from and onto Tennessee Avenue and Northern Boulevard is not impacted.
The lane shift is expected to remain in place for approximately 4 hours while CFPUA crews complete the repair.
