Intermittent lane closures on a section of North Kerr Avenue are scheduled to begin Tuesday, June 18, to allow crews to complete construction work for CFPUA’s Northern Regional Pump Station.
The lane shifts on North Kerr Avenue will be between Truesdale Road and Hall Waters Drive. The closures will take place intermittently between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, and will be in place for approximately two weeks.
During the temporary closures, one lane of North Kerr Avenue will be closed, with traffic shifted into a single lane. Flaggers will be in place to direct drivers around the closures.
Once complete, the Northern Regional Pump Station will significantly increase wastewater conveyance capacity in northern New Hanover County.
