[ARCHIVED] Lane closed on South 17th Street for water main repair

Part of the outer southbound lane of South 17th Street south of Independence Boulevard is temporarily closed Tuesday, May 16, for a water main repair.

The closure is expected to remain in place through late Tuesday morning. Access to the Pointe at Barclay shopping center is not impacted.

At approximately 10 p.m. Monday, May 15, CFPUA crews were alerted to a water main break on South 17th Street. As of Tuesday morning, water service has been restored to the area.

CFPUA has issued a precautionary boil water advisory to approximately 20 commercial customers at 1407 Barclay Pointe Boulevard and at 2029 and 2030 Stonecrop Drive. Notification has been hand-delivered to all impacted customers.
