A lane of Princess Street in downtown Wilmington will be closed to traffic starting Monday, January 2, for an emergency sewer repair.
Starting at 9 a.m. Monday, the eastbound lane of Princess Street will be closed between North Front Street and North Second Street. Street-side parking along the eastbound lane will also be closed. The westbound lane will not be impacted.
Drivers are asked to detour around the closure using Market Street.
The closure is expected to remain in place through Tuesday, January 3, while crews repair a damaged sewer service line in the area.
