The northbound right-turn lane of the 8200 block of Market Street onto Porters Neck Road reopened to normal traffic Monday afternoon.
The turn lane had been closed to allow for repairs related to a sinkhole.
CFPUA crews filled in the sinkhole at the request of the N.C. Department of Transportation. CFPUA’s emergency contractor performed emergency repairs to sewer infrastructure in the area.
