Dawson Street will be reduced to one lane between South Third and South Fourth streets for about eight hours starting at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, and Wednesday, April 27, while crews make emergency repairs to a sewer main.
The work will coincide with an unrelated nighttime closure of the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge planned by the N.C. Department of Transportation.
All lanes are expected to reopen to normal traffic by 5 each morning.
