CFPUA Comments on Chemours Consent Order
The proposed consent order between NCDEQ and Chemours is open for public comment. While CFPUA has previously expressed concerns about certain terms in the document, today we submitted our written comments to the state. We believe the state will agree our comments will help protect public health and will work to incorporate them into the consent order.
The comment period is open until December 21, and CFPUA encourages people to review the document and send their comments to NCDEQ.
