[ARCHIVED] CFPUA Issues Traffic Advisory for 2700 - 2800 Blocks of Chestnut Street

CFPUA emergency contractor State Utility is making an emergency repair to the sewer system. CFPUA crews will close the 2700 - 2800 Blocks of Chestnut Street between N. 27th Street and N. 29th Street to all thru traffic allowing local traffic only. All thru traffic should detour by way of N. 27th Street to Willow Street to 29th Street to Chestnut Street. For more information, please see the traffic control map below.

There is not an associated Precautionary Boil Water Advisory with this travel advisory.

This travel advisory begins immediately. This travel advisory is expected to last through Friday, September 28 until 5 pm.

Drivers are asked to use caution when driving in this location. Cape Fear Public Utility Authority appreciates our customers' patience.
