A portion of Mt. Misery Road in Brunswick County will be temporarily closed for two weeks starting Monday, November 10, for crews to install a raw water transmission main.
Starting at 9 a.m. on November 10, Mt. Misery Road will be closed to traffic in both directions at the intersection with Lackey Road NE.
Drivers are asked to detour around the closure via Dogwood Road NE.
The closure is expected to remain in place until 4 p.m. on Friday, November 21.
This project is a partnership between Lower Cape Fear Water and Sewer Authority (LCFWASA), CFPUA, and Pender County to parallel the raw water main serving local utilities.
