A portion of Blue Clay Road at the intersection with North College Road will be closed for approximately 2 days starting Monday, May 19, for road repaving.
Starting at 7 a.m. on May 19, crews will close Blue Clay Road from North College Road to Sidbury Road. The road will be closed to through-traffic in both directions, with only local traffic allowed.
Drivers are asked to detour around the closure via Parmele Road.
The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately 2 days while crews repave the road as part of CFPUA’s Northern Regional Pump Station and Force Main Project. Once complete, this project will significantly increase CFPUA’s sewer collection capacity in Northern New Hanover County.
