Telephone Road has reopened to traffic following repairs to a damaged water main at the intersection with Rogersville Road.
ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
A section of Telephone Road is inaccessible from the intersection with Rogersville Road effective immediately Friday, March 7, due to a water main break in the area.
CFPUA staff are on-site working to repair a damaged water main at the intersection. The southeast-bound entrance to Telephone Road is closed to traffic. Staff are assessing the damage and working to safely reopen the road as quickly as possible.
Traffic on Rogersville Road is not impacted, but drivers are asked to be aware of crews working in the area. Traffic on Telephone Road to the west of the intersection with Rogersville Road is also not impacted.
Approximately 30 residential customers in the area are under an emergency boil water advisory. CFPUA staff will hand-deliver notification to impacted customers.
