[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: CFPUA offices to close Thursday and Friday in response to Hurricane Dorian

office closed sign

In response to possible impacts from Hurricane Dorian, CFPUA’s offices will be closed for business on Thursday, September 5, and Friday, September 6.

Customers who need to conduct business in person this week at 235 Government Center Drive or 305 Chestnut Street are urged to do so by 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 4.

We anticipate returning to normal operations on Monday, September 9, but please check CFPUA.org for any updates.

A two-day grace period is available for customers whose bills are due this week. In addition, barring a disruption, customers also may access their accounts by phone at (910) 332-6550. Bills also can be paid online at CFPUA.org.

If you have a water or sewer emergency while our office is closed, please call (910) 332-6565.

CFPUA’s new emergency alert service – CivicReady, powered by Regroup – allows customers to sign up for customizable alerts in the event of an emergency that may affect their water or wastewater services. Alerts can be delivered by email, text message, and/or voice telephone call. They also can be delivered in one of several languages.

The service is free and can be modified or canceled at any time. Sign up today at: CFPUA.org/CivicReady.
