2. CFPUA's portable water station provides fresh drinking water to community events throughout our service area in the City of Wilmington and New Hanover County.

   Requests are processed on a first come, first served basis. CFPUA staff will operate the station during your event.

   ASSUMPTION OF RISK: The individual or organization hosting the event for which the portable water station is made available (the “Host”) hereby assumes all risk of damage or injury to any person or property arising out of or resulting from any cause other than the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (“CFPUA”). Host, to the fullest extent permitted by law and as a material part of the consideration for the use of the portable water station, hereby waives and releases all claims against any CFPUA and agrees that, unless expressly provided herein, CFPUA shall not be liable for any loss, injury, illness, death, or damage to persons, property, or Host’s business resulting from the use of the portable water station.
