Dear Heritage Park Area resident,
The Heritage Park Area sewer and water project has been progressing into its construction phase. This email update is being sent to ask for your assistance on a key matter. As part of this project, services will be installed on your property so you can be connected to CFPUA’s systems after its completion. At this time, we would like to give an opportunity to provide us with your preference for the sewer service and water meter location on your property.
In the upcoming weeks, a self-addressed, stamped postcard with a sketch of a property/lot will be mailed or delivered to you. Residents along Bermuda Drive and Carl Seitter will have their tap cards delivered door-to-door. While it looks rather simple, the information we need you to provide is very important. CFPUA requests that you, to the best of your knowledge, mark where you want your sewer connection and water meter to be located on your property line.
This information is necessary for our contractors and inspectors to complete their construction work. Therefore, CFPUA needs to receive your postcard by November 1, 2014. You can send your postcard back one of three ways: 1) mail it back; 2) drop it off at CFPUA’s main offices at 235 Government Center Drive in Wilmington; or 3) scan the postcard and email it to communications@cfpua.org.
If you do not receive your tap card in the mail by October 15, please email me at communications@cfpua.org.
If the postcard is NOT received by the November 1st deadline, CFPUA will install the services on the property where it is deemed most appropriate in order to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of the project. If you, as the owner, decide after the services are installed that you wish to have the connections in another location, you will be responsible for all costs associated with relocating the meter.
If you have questions or comments concerning this stage of the project, please contact me at the number and/or email below and I will be glad to assist you with answers or information.
